cross-wheel drive system.
Saab XWD will change your perception about driving, even on perfectly dry pavement. When you drive actively and corner on a winding road, the system increases power delivery to the rear wheels. This counteracts the understeer and makes the car flow through the curves with astonishing agility.
The available Saab XWD system monitors your driving through sensors on the accelerator, transmission, steering wheel and Electronic Stability Program (ESP ®) system signals. It compares your intentions with available grip and the g-forces acting on the car to help support your progress whatever the road conditions. As you drive, it adapts torque distribution seamlessly, continuously balancing front and rear wheel power for ultimate handling and performance.
The TurboX comes with a 280 bhp, 24-valve2.8
V6 turbo engine has the characteristics of a V8 engine: 295
lbs-ft of torque and an acceleration
of 0-62 mph in 5.7 seconds. As if this wasn't enough, the sport-tuned chassis,
brakes and electronic control system combine to give you the
ride of your life.
